| #1 | Just read through the latest Busch Sports Scene and noticed in the list of BNS/CWES yearly wins by manufacturer that, amongst other trivia, Plymouth has had a lone victory, coming in 1987. I'm sure it's probably been answered here before but who, when & where? :-)
Also of note, Dodge has had only one win, coming in 2006. I had guessed it was Brian Hoar but checked eastseries.com and see that it was Ruben Pardo at LRP. Also Toyota made a big splash in 2009, scoring its first 6 wins this season.
BTW I don't know the answer to my question; just asking our historical scholars on here. Also any pics of said Mopar product would be appreciated. __________________ The best way to make a small fortune in racing is to start out with a big one. - Junior Johnson |

| #5 | It was in reference to the chart in Busch Sport Scene. There will be more charts coming in future issues. And since he gets his sent by the USPS, he'll find them in his mailbox, lol.

| #7 | Yes, "Racin'" Ralph Nason is the only Plymouth winner in series history based on his victory on 8/19/87 at Unity.

| #9 | I'll add that to the list, you know, the one were Joe Bessey is getting his ROTY plaque. I haven't started going through pictures or anything like that yet. I've been sorting out stuff in the office, there really is TO MUCH to go through. You name it, it's in there.
Well, it's almost in there if you name it (just incase anyone got some crazy ideas, lol).

I watched that car go together at Don Letarte Race Cars, and it actually was a Chrysler LeBaron body that went on, not a Plymouth - but who am I to argue with those oh-so-complete and accurate NASCAR record books. __________________ Racin' Paper

Thanks for pointing that out Marco. I am going to look into it, as I just pulled up the file. On one chart it says Plymouth and on another with the actual race report it lists Chrysler. One has the date as the 19th and the other the 28th. So it seems there is something amiss with this race info in the program. Thanks again. |

I was at the race. It was a white Chrysler. In fact, I think that was the year that Ralph became one of the few - if any - drivers to win an ACT and Busch North Series race in the same season. __________________ http://mikescolumn.blogspot.com/ |

Marco & Mike.....You both would be correct.....I actually have a few pictures of that particular car.....I don't think i'm able to put them up on here, but if somebody has some input on how to, i'll more then gladly show them or send them to someone who can.....I've got a few different pictures of his cars over the years if anyone is interested....."The Man" had alot of different cars over the years...and a few radical ones as well.....Definitely miss seeing "The show". |

I think there was a picture of Ralph's Lebaron with Darren Berniers car parked on top of it in SCR magazine back in the day. I think it was an Oxford 250 write up. |

kart96.....Yup, your right...i have them pictures as well.....It was a write-up about the Oxford 250, but the actual race from the photo's was the Diet Coke 100 when that incident occurred.....There's one part where the write-up says that Ralph has a Pontiac...not very likely. <grin> |
